Kiwi Bus Builders, four years steady work ahead

The Kiwi Bus Builder factory at Tauriko in the Bay of Plenty has four years steady production work on its books, including assembling 120 buses for New Zealand Bus, the major operator of Auckland, Wellington and Whangarei buses. These buses are being built/re-assembled on Alexander Dennis chassis sent out from Falkirk Scotland. Says managing Kiwi director Richard Drummond   “Four years in anyone’s book in this day in age is good.  If we can maintain this for four years we’ve got time to plan something to come up behind it.”
